YOAMK.Lapland UAS and Lapland University offer wide selection of online journals, e-books and databases to their users.
Most of the databases are produced by commercial businesses and accordingly the use of these database is limited to the university that has bought the right to use then through licences and similar contracts. The databases that the Lapland UAS and Lapland University have obtained access to can be accessed by students and staff by logging in to them using their university credentials (=HakaLogin) even when not on the university network. Electronic resources are separate for Lapland UAS and Lapland University.
Databases are also created by libraries, scientific societies and other academic organizations. These are typically freely available online for anyone to use.

These pages include links both open access resources and the licensed databases of Lapland University and of Lapland UAS.
