Searching for a book

  1. You need to log in with your university user credentials (HakaLogin) if you want to make a request, to renew your loans or to access licensed materials
  2. Basic Search is best for searching single item or checking up item’s availability. The easiest way to find a book is to search using the title.

  1. Click the title for holdings information. There are multiple copies of this edition of the book.
  2. There is also information of the books of National Repository Library. You can place a request to National Repository Library by filling in the form free of charge. Note, that failing to pick up a requested book involves a fine of 5 €.

Holdings - Are books available?

  1. The item is located in the Arctic Centre Library, in the Kosmos Library Kemi and in the University Library
  2. The number helps you locate the book in the library. The 3 or "A3" refers to be general collection. 
  3. The 'K' refers to be textbooks collection. (see the library map)
  4. The book may be alphabetized according to the title or to the author. Therefore it is important to check the word before you go looking for the book.
  5. If the book isn't available in library, where you will pick up it, you can place a request. Please notice: We cancel requests for books that are located in the University Library's collections if the pickup location is also University Library.
