Searching publications about research methods can be challenging because the titles of research methods are not always used as keywords in publication databases. Neither are the research methods mentioned in the titles of the publications. Still, there can be useful descriptions and critique of the methods in the texts. The titles of the methods can be used as search terms if you search from abstracts or full texts when they are available. Methodological information can be found in the most recent textbooks on your field of science and especially in the handbooks and encyclopaedias that are concentrating on methodology.
