The Library supports the teachers of the University of Lapland and Lapland UAS in planning and implementing teaching as well as in guiding students. We offer teachers access to the library's collections as well as guides that support research, teaching and studying. We also arrange guidance and counselling for both teachers and students.
In this guide, you will find important information about the library's services and their use in teaching and guidance. The point of view is that of a teacher. For each section of the guide, you will also find information on where to find additional information and advice on different themes.
Support for Educational and Teaching Planning supports the university's teachers in educational planning. In the use of digital services eOppimispalvelut supports the teachers of both universities.
On request, teachers and researchers are provided with information retrieval training tailored especially for them.
At Lapland UAS, training in information retrieval is integrated with other teaching. Information retrieval is most commonly offered as a part of orientating studies as well as in connection with research and method studies. It is possible to ask for information retrieval teaching for groups at different stages of the studies.
Teachers and RDI staff are also offered tailored information retrieval training on request.
