You can keep up your CV by LaCRIS. The CV will be updated whenever your data in LaCRIS is updated. There are four types of CV:
Creating a public or private CV
Start creating your CV by clicking "Add curriculum vitae"
Choose the CV type and then you can choose what information you will include in your CV. Then click "Create".
You can edit the CV by moving the mouse on the left side of the different sections. You can see there small arrows with which you can change the order of the sections, a cross with which you can remove a section and an Edit button with which you can edit the title of the section, set restrictions, the form and the order for the contents of the section.
Every section can be dynamic or static. If you keep it dynamic, the contents will be updated when your data in LaCRIS is updated. If you change it to static, you can edit it more but it won't update with your data in LaCRIS.
After editing your CV, please, remember to save it. The public CV is not automatically public - you must tick "Publish".
If you publish your CV, the link will appear on your home page under your photo and the CV can be downloaded as a pdf file.
You need not save your private or TENK CV. You can create a CV whenever needed and download it as a pdf or Word file and then edit as much as you want:
TENK CV and EuroPass CV
These CVs are created in the order of the models and systems for them.
You have to choose yourself what activities you want to pick for your CV. In addition, you have to edit it and add the texts that you want to.
EuroPass CV transfers information from LaCRIS to the EuroPass system, where you can still edit them.
FAAR (Faculty and Academic Activity Report) is a service that collects a report of your output, activities, prizes, participations in projects and the awards that you have received during a predefined period. These reports can be downloaded by units for the leaders of the unit or the university, for administrative purposes.
Research output that is input in LaCRIS is copied to Virta publication system according to the instructions of the Ministry of Culture and Education. The output information is then transferred from Virta to Research.fi. The systems of the Academy of Finland are linked to Virta publication system so that research output information is available both for applications and for project reports to the Academy. Previously the information was also transferred to the Juuli database, but Research.fi has replaced it in 2022.
Research output data is transferred from Virta system to the national Research.fi service. Also information on research infrastructures is transferred to Research.fi service. At the University of Lapland it means information on the laboratories and studios. Later also information on researchers and their academic activities will be transferred to the Research.fi service. Those parts of the service are still under construction.
Statistical service Vipunen contains numerical information on research output reported to the Ministry of Education and Culture. The budget funding of the universities is dependent on the amounts of research output, their types, OA availability and publication forum levels.
